FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use a simmer pot?

Simply add your simmer pot ingredients to a pot of water on the stovetop or a slow cooker, bring it to a gentle simmer, and enjoy the natural fragrance as it fills your home. Keep an eye on the water level and add more as needed to prevent burning.

How long does the scent last?

The scent can last anywhere from 6-10 hours per use, depending on the ingredients. Some stronger blends (like cinnamon and citrus) may last longer, while more delicate ingredients (like florals) may fade faster.

Can I reuse my simmer pot?

Yes! You can reuse it for up to 3-5 consecutive days. Let it cool completely before storing it in the fridge with the water still in the pot. Reheat when ready and add more water as needed.

What should I do when my simmer pot is no longer fragrant?

Once the ingredients lose their scent, simply compost them or discard them. Then, start fresh with a new blend!

Can I drink my simmer pot?

Our simmer pots are made with real, food-grade ingredients, but they are not meant for drinking since they are blended for fragrance rather than taste.

Do I need to refrigerate my simmer pot between uses?

Yes! To extend its life, let your simmer pot cool completely before placing it in the fridge with the water still in it. This helps preserve the ingredients and prevents mold growth.

Can I use a simmer pot in a wax warmer or diffuser?

Simmer pots are designed for stovetops or slow cookers, not wax warmers or diffusers. However, you can try using a small crockpot on low heat for a similar effect.

Do your simmer pots contain fragrance oils or artificial scents?

Never! We are committed to truly clean home fragrance, which means no synthetic fragrance oils, no hidden toxins, and no greenwashing—just pure dried fruits, herbs, and spices.

Do you offer seasonal simmer pot blends?

Yes! We create limited-edition seasonal blends to celebrate the scents of each season, from cozy fall spices to bright spring florals. Be sure to check back for new arrivals!
